I’m an 80s-born fellow who’s been shooting professionally since 2007. When I’m not capturing your best moments, I’m serving as a firefighter / paramedic—a career I’ve loved since 2009. What does that mean for you? I’ve spent my adult life being blessed to serve others, learning to stay calm under pressure, and finding beauty in the unexpected.
I’m a husband to a beautiful wife and a girl-dad to three daughters--vastly outnumbered by females--so I’ve mastered the art of patience and the "dad joke." Above all, I love Jesus and am so grateful for the life He’s given me. I take my craft seriously and strive for excellence in all that I do, but don't take myself too seriously and enjoy laughing often. We will have fun on your photo shoot!
On my days off, you can find me:
I’m committed to treating every client with genuine care and excellence, and I’d love to tell your story. Drop me a line!
I’m based in New Braunfels, TX, but I love to travel! Whether it’s a local wedding in the hill country area, downtown San Antonio, or up the road in Austin, or a destination celebration abroad, I’m happy to meet you where you are to document your special day!
My shooting style would best be described as photojournalistic. I seek to capture your day organically and unobtrusively, telling your story with as little intervening as possible. I started out shooting for the newspaper at my university and honed my ability to document moments, it's what I love to do most.
Yes! Engagement and bridal sessions are a great way to get comfortable working together and being in front of the camera before the big day. I schedule shoots on-location and am very flexible and willing to work with your preferences. I can also make suggestions if you need some help figuring out where to meet for your shoot.
Every wedding is unique on its own and different in duration, but you will typically receive about 40-60 images per hour of coverage.
For portrait sessions, I typically deliver about 35-50 images.
All photos are delivered through my website in a collection of fully edited, high-resolution images in a custom private online gallery—ready to view, share, and download.
Absolutely. Every wedding is unique, and I’m happy to tailor a package that fits your vision and needs.
A lot depends on the weather and the look you're going for, but it's typically a good idea to avoid busy patterns or graphics and stick with neutral colors that don't clash. There will be a variety of poses (sitting on a bench or in the grass, standing in different poses, leaning), so dressing comfortably is always a good idea! You're also welcome to bring a change of clothes or a couple of accessories like a blazer, scarf, blouse, etc. to give your photos some more variety.
